Description
There are memories we know better than to revisit, yet somehow we return to them.
Wayback begins with a dark, almost unsettling sweetness—cherry stained by bitter almond and a metallic suggestion of blood. As it develops, ylang-ylang emerges against the dry, smoky character of nagarmotha, gradually pulling the composition away from sweetness and into something darker.
At the base, oud and animalic notes remain close to the skin: shadowy, intimate and slightly feral.
A misguided journey home, for someone who is lost and in no hurry to be found.
