Manigua by Ricardo Ramos

Inherited in Colombia from the Taínos of the Arawak indigenous family of the Antilles and used in a generalized way to call the forest or jungle, Manigua is the term that encompasses the jungle as a habitat that compiled the mysterious and cultural manifestations of those who inhabited it.

And it is also known as "Manigua sting" to describe the effect generated by that strange mystery that undermines the will of visitors and strangers when they visit the jungle, dragging them to the deepest part of their heart, like an insect bite that envelops you and alters you, leaving you hopelessly in love with the shades of green that dominate the Colombian rainforests, represented in this mysterious and surprising fragrance with mossy and woody notes, accentuated with herbs and lemon verbena, on a moist body nourished with vetiver, lichens and mineral notes, resting on a base of musk, leather and labdanum, all this nuanced with a bittersweet fruity accord built with jungle berries such as Açai, Corozo and Camu Camu, also aromatized with touches of nutmeg and petitgrain.

Manigua is a fragrance that points to the jungle, inviting us to experience it as an epicenter where the forces of the universe are concentrated, to celebrate the majesty of nature, to which being indifferent is absolutely impossible.
