Oudh by Maqueda is composed of only two materials: jasmine oil extract and Assam oudh. 

Assam oudh—agarwood from Northeast India—is among perfumery’s most scarce materials, formed naturally over decades within wild Aquilaria agallocha trees. Long revered in tradition, it is defined by a dark, animalic depth that unfolds slowly and continuously on skin.

Here, it is paired with jasmine oil extract not for sweetness, but for tension. Jasmine introduces breath, warmth, and a faint human pulse against the gravity of the oudh. The result is not a “floral oud,” but an encounter between light and shadow—intimate, solemn, and profoundly grounded.
